    Principal Responsibilities







    - Administrative Knowledge with practical hands-on of Middleware application server products on Linux with good command line understanding.












    - Installation, configuration and monitoring, product/fix pack upgrade, migration of Websphere Application Server, Liberty, IHS, Apache HTTP Server.












    - Application environment configurations – JVM, Clustering, profile creation, JDBC, JMS, JNDI, SIB, Security implementation etc.












    - Investigate and resolve technical issues related to application hosting infrastructure across Production, Contingency and Development environments.












    - Weekend support and after business hours’ support may be required from time to time.












    - SSL certificate management – Renewal, creation, installation of SSL certificate.












    - Knowledge of various tools/implementations - MQ Client/Server, LDAP, WAN, LAN, DNS, F5 load balancer, Control-M, BMC Patrol, monitoring setup and ITIL processes.












    - Develop automation solution using Ansible, Puppet, Shell scripting etc












    - Ensuring deliverables as per standards and quality in agreed schedule, review & documentation of processes, tasks as applicable. Follow the best practices & ensure strict adherence to guidelines.












    - Be able to communicate with the stake holders and escalating in a timely manner.












    - Work on service improvement plans to deliver quantifiable efficiency gain.












    - Understanding of Business continuity, availability and disaster recovery.












    - Identify & report operational risks and contribute to mitigate the same.












    - Brainstorm with team leaders and peers on emerging technology trends, constantly question, clarify from teams and ensure that critical technology issues are highlighted and considered.












    - Understand objectives/expectations and work collaboratively to achieve organizational goals.
