  Basic Qualification & Experience

   

   

   

  Key Accountabilities

   

   

   

  ·         Expert in Red Hat Unix Operating System Administration.

   

   

   

  ·         Release software in Linux and windows across multiple environments.

   

   

   

  ·         A good working knowledge of windows administration.

   

   

   

  ·         Should be able to install and configure software across environments

   

   

   

  ·         Able to write system level scripts in bash, Java & Python sripts to automate Linux deployments.

   

   

   

  ·         Experience creating CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Ansible

   

   

   

  ·         Experience / certification with GCP or other cloud providers like AWS or Azure

   

   

   

  ·         Understanding of operating system patching practices

   

   

   

  ·         Ability to provide technical support for web services applications.

   

   

   

  ·         Experience with Grafana or ELK stacks

   

   

   

  ·         Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases like Sybase

   

   

   

  ·         Working knowledge of Elasticsearch and ability to query data and perform periodic maintenance

   

   

   

  ·         Understand monitoring of production software with tools like Geneos

   

   

   

  ·         Track production issues thru ticketing systems like Jira and ensure follow thru to completion.

   

   

   

  ·         Ability to debug issues related to networking protocols like TCP, https.

   

   

   

  ·         Ensure network security best practices are followed.

   

   

   

  ·         The role holder is required to work independently to analyse and resolve production problems and work with global team across timezones to resolve them.
