  Roles & Responsibilities:

  
  
  

  • Work with multiple stakeholders across Organisation to identify and prioritize the challenges and key strategic opportunities in the areas of workflow, innovation, communication / outreach, and strategic planning for data analytics
  • Take ownership/initiatives to drive business outcomes with the support of SME.
  • Handle open-ended problem statements and structure them into actionable and build data driven roadmap.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and measure the impact of initiatives to make noticeable improvements based on impact and feedback
  • Writing analytical queries using SQL & PL/PGSQL code.
  • Make enhancements to the existing Queries/Functions/Procedures as per the requirement
  • Optimize other Developer Queries as needed
  • Write and maintain technical documentation
  • Participate in meeting and discussions with customers, work closely with DBAs and analysts and SME

  
  
  

   

  Skills and Qualifications:

  
  
  

  • Strong technical skills like SQL and PL/PGSQL
  • Experience working with RDBMS like PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL
  • Experience working with LINUX based OS like CentOS/Ubuntu/Fedora
  • Tune existing code; provide query optimization support, including creation of new Tables, Views, Triggers, Stored Procedures, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

   

   

  1. Skill: Postgresql Developer

  Exp: 6+ Years

  Location: Delhi

  Skill set / Experience required:

  At-least 5 years’ experience as a DBA with PostgreSQL in a 24/7 production environment including backup recovery, replication, high availability, designing and managing schema, monitoring diagnosing and optimizing database performance

  ·       Ability to detect and troubleshoot database-related CPU, memory, IO, disk space, and other resource contention issues

  ·       Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery and replication solutions and best practices

  ·       Demonstrated experience implementing deploying database servers

  ·       Expertise in writing SQL queries, analysing query performance using query plans and tuning query performance

  ·       Expertise in Database Administration on PostgreSQL platforms operating within on premise installations.

  ·       Expertise in Troubleshooting and resolving database problems in a high-paced transaction OLTP environment.

  ·       Database Performance Tuning and Optimization using native monitoring tools.

  ·       Backup/ Restore and recovery models.

  ·       Advance knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics.

  ·       Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options

   

  Other Skills: Strong communications skills and ability to document and present complex designs to wider audience Analytical skills
